"Intriguing anomaly of Double Bay shopping, this is the small Woolworths underneath the big Woolworths. Reopened this week after a 3 month closure for renovations it is difficult to see what took them 3 months to renovate as the store is pretty much the same as it was before it was renovated. The word that comes to mind to summarise this store is “pointless” as it’s now just a mini version of the bigger Woolworths upstairs where previously downstairs had a focus on organic and “free from” foods. Overall this store is only worth a visit to see the very pretty self-serve sweet section."
"Amazing new offer at Double Bay Metro. Expanded premium grocery range, fresh bread, fresh fruit, meat, seafood, fresh pasta, entertaining and cheese. Some new additions including a dessert macaroon range, marco cleaning self fill machine, a massive selection of bulk loose foods (nuts, grains, chocolate & snacks) and bread & butter made onsite. Finally a beautiful industry bean run cafe producing a very decent brew!! Definitely worth a visit..."
