"Was cute to go to, a bit on the small side. I went on a public holiday, had a bit of a Sandford, Gloucestershire vibe if you know what I mean. Pub?"
"Best markets in Camden for a relaxing weekend away by the pond with a loved one. The community garden next door could also be a treat for botanists and vegans alike! Very interesting how well maintained it is."
"Despite now living in the big smoke, I’m a Camden local by heart, growing up here and continuing to visit my family. It’s a lovely town, that’s not so small anymore, but still has a good community vibe to it. One of the things I love is the Camden Produce Markets, which are held EVERY Saturday from 7.00 am – 12.00 pm. Located in town next to the community gardens with a beautiful outlook. These markets are a “Genuine Farmers Market” where all products sold must be grown, produced or made by the person selling them. This is a wonderful approach seeing as though it helps to give back to the people of Camden and surrounding areas. They sell produce, fruits and vegetables that are so fresh and vibrant. There’s also sellers with foraged mushrooms, deli goods like olives and cheese as well as bakeries with fresh loaves and pastries. The markets also have plants and beautiful flowers at very reasonable prices. Some stalls also sell other products that have been manufactured into chutnies, hand creams, kombucha and more. There are sellers offering food to consume for brekkie, whether it be a Crepe, coffee, bacon and egg roll or Stall holders are friendly and love a good chat too, so you feel very welcome and part of the community. We encourage you to buy straight from the markets to help out small business and local growers and producers. You get the added benefit of the freshest goods out there."
"A nice little regional produce market just off the main street of Camden. Fresh vegetables and fruit, eggs, honey and freshly baked breads/pastries/cakes feature regularly. There’s coffee and food stalls also. Some stalls change week by week, with flower and plant stalls also appearing. This market is small, compared to Sydney produce markets, but you will find good produce here from friendly farmers."
