About the Business
Welcome to Nature's Best Belfield, located at 29 Burwood Road in Australia. As an establishment, food, grocery, and supermarket, we are a point of interest and a store that offers a truly exceptional shopping experience.
Nature's Best Belfield has a remarkable history that dates back to the arrival of Grandfather Domenic Strati in Sydney from Italy in 1963. He started his new life as a market gardener at West Hoxton, and his passion for fresh produce was passed down to his three sons. Giovanni, Domenic's middle son, decided to venture into fresh produce retailing after spending about 10 years in the retail business. He purchased his first business in Merrylands and later moved to a larger store in Condell Park.
At the age of 16, Giovanni's son Rocco left school to join his father in the business. In 1987, the Strati family opened Fairfield Fruitland, a successful venture that ran for 20 years. Fast forward a few more years, and Rocco proudly opened the doors to his own purpose-built, award-winning store, Nature's Best. This store is a culmination of his dreams and features all the fittings and features he had envisioned in his previous stores.
Nature's Best is a one-stop shop that offers a wide range of products. From full deli lines to hard-to-find continental grocery goods, we have it all. Our pristine quality produce is sourced daily from local growers and Sydney wholesale markets, ensuring that our customers receive the freshest and finest products available.
Rocco and his wife Caterina now employ over 25 staff members, including his brother, two sisters, and even their four kids when he manages to convince them to help out. Nature's Best has been recognized for its excellence in the local business awards, winning the title of best fruit market every year since its opening.
Despite the challenges of running a business, Rocco's passion for Nature's Best shines through. He may have once dreamed of being an architect, but he wouldn't have it any other way now. The business is in his blood, and it shows in the exceptional quality and service provided at Nature's Best Belfield.
We invite you to visit our store and experience the gourmet recipes that can be created with the freshest produce in town. Nature's Best Belfield is truly a great store that is well worth a visit!

"Best local fruit shop. Lovely clean shop and sparkling fruit pre packed. Fantastic small business. Includes many Italian foods, uncooked and precooked or frozen."
"Good specials and variety of fruit and veg. Good service in the deli ."
"The manager is one of the rudest people I have come across. Barely stopped and exited the car from the passenger side before he came shouting me down in the public car park asking me if I can read the sign. My aunty was going to shop and was dropping me off there at the same time. He swore and was extremely rude to me and my aunty. Horrible person, who puts the good name of the Company down. The corporate of natures best should investigate this brute of a man. His aggression caused me to be worried for the safety of my aunty which caused me to have to stay with her till she entered the store."
"BEWARE IF BUYING FRUITS!! Received a basket of fruits from this store as a housewarming gift from my sister. The fruits had huge mould spurs growing on it after 2 days. So I went back to the shop with the bank transaction as my sister did not have the receipt anymore (you wouldn't think you would need it for fruit right?!). I was told by the floor manager that without the receipt they wouldn't even allow exchanges (despite the bank transaction and me bringing the product in with all packaging intact). He claimed there is no way that it was bought 2 days prior (why would I lie about that?! Check the bloody cameras then!!) and that the mandarins had gone bad due to me not removing the packaging and leaving it out (even though I have always left my mandarins in my fruit bowl). But when I asked what his excuse was for the strawberries and blueberries that I put straight into the fridge when I received them, he had the audacity to say to me “I don’t know what happens to my products when they get into your hands”!! I have never heard any retail say that to their customer. I was appalled!! Must be one of those companies that re-sells fruits bought from markets! Definitely not fresh. Never had any issue like this before with fruits bought elsewhere (even the markets). Would not be complaining about this if I wasn’t genuinely shocked by the quality (especially for the price you pay) and the store’s response. Interesting to note other reviews (and likes on the reviews) who have had a similar issues with the products and were not able to even exchange with a receipt. ACCC hand out hefty fines for this! Report immediately people!"
"I had purchased their Dutch Smoked Cheese, which I am a huge fan of and had bought previously. I had it for about 4 days before I started to see mould spores on the side, it smelled and tasted funny too (I had double checked with some family members). I brought it back to the store, and the female manager had blatantly refused to acknowledge the mould was there (rubbing it off, and telling me it was cheese residue from when they cut it with the knife). She tasted it and insisted what I claimed was the 'funny taste' was the 'smoked flavour', and refused to accept my comments that I had purchased this cheese before and it just didn’t taste right. The Natures Best label had even noted a sell by date of 18.12.2020. I tried to have a rational conversation and to rectify the situation I asked if she would be happy for me to exchange the cheese, to which she insistently said 'No, because there is no mould'. This type of 'customer service' is really appalling and needs to be rectified. I have loved shopping here for many years but blatantly refusing to accept customers statements that there is mould, is just not right. I definitely wouldn't recommend any of their self-packaged products because apparently there is a strict no returns policy regardless of their negligence."
