"Best potato cakes I have had in my entire life! Lovely batter, nice thick slices of fluffy potato, cooked to perfection with a delicious crunch to the batter. They even look fantastic. Not at all like the regular potato cakes you get anywhere else. Well worth the above average cost."
"0/5 literally no service. I'm very understanding at busy times of the year, I used to work in a fish and chip shop. They answered the phone, asked me to hold and put the phone down. It had been 55mins by the time I got to the empty store. I could hear when they were taking orders and most of the time they were not. I also yelled out and am absolutely certain they would have heard as I timed it for when I could hear someone was close. Also they would have known they should be getting calls - it's Good Friday. I would have accepted an "I'm sorry, I forgot." and ordered still. Instead, she lied and said they were taking orders non-stop the whole time. Who knows what else they lie about. Went around the corner and the food and service were excellent. Will not bother with this place again. Hopefully she's the owner, as she would have cost the store a lot of business having the phone out of acton on Good Friday from 6-7pm."
"Asked us to hold and left the phone on the counter for 45 minutes. Drove in to three orders waiting and the staff member seemed amused to have done it. No wonder it's quiet and around the corner their competitors a line up down the street."
