"The closest place I’ve come to in Sydney that best resembles the quality of my own Nonna Rosa’s homemade pasta. A beautiful atmosphere that places you in an old authentic Italian home with nothing but incredible Italian food, imported wine, and caring staff that look after you throughout your stay. Will be returning very soon thats for sure."
"The pasta was average, the lamb was good but small portion. Waiter surprised my companion with a mock cocktail of grapefruit juice which no one like tbh."
"Very average compared to other Italian restaurants but still a good try. Nothing really stood out to me except the lamb dish which was very tender and flavourful."
"This is a neighbourhood gem that we are fortunate enough to have lived down the road from ever since it opened years ago. So it is tried & tested, & very much recommended. Quaint, rustic, charming & down to earth decor that is so easy & lovely to walk into. It’s a massive space & yet it looks so cosy. The food matches perfectly of course, and I’ve always loved that you can buy the pasta & sauces from the clever little store tucked away in the back of the restaurant (as well as online). Tonight we started with stuffed zucchini flowers, which were super yummy. Wayne had Fettuccine with Porcini Cream Sauce, which was rich & tasty. I had the most amazing Lamb Shoulder with Cauliflower & Potato Mash - so delicious & tender - just what I felt like. The best home cooked comfort food you could ever want."
"Updated review after trying to return to enjoy some more food. Upon entering the waitress walks over looks me up and down. I ignore the rudeness as I know how amazing the food tastes. (I am also not dressed in casual clothes to be turned away due to a 'dress code' if they had one). I ask if I could have a table for 1 please. She thinks about it then says 'no we're closed.' I say 'O I thought you were open until 10pm'. Reply: "yes the kitchen shuts at 9". Me: "o is it after 9?" Reply : she walks off & goes to see to a table. I check my phone and it's not 9pm. The food here is absolutely gorgeous based on my 1st visit but a shame the customer service doesn't match. I had driven half an hour to try and enjoy a nice dinner and buy some sauces and pastas to take to a friend's but will now no longer be returning based off of this experience. So disappointed."
