"I wanted a treat for myself so went here for SNS on my natural nails on Sunday 6th August. Really wanted to give this place a chance after feeling a bit put off from the moment I sat down at the dusty desk. The two photos are/were the “finished” product - I was in tears and absolutely gob smacked that the lady had already moved on to the next customer waiting - I laughed through tears as I asked - “are you actually serious ?? These are absolutely awful!” Two layers of sns applied and there were patches of my nails that were not covered so I asked repeatedly for these to be fixed - the lady decided to try and cut the exposed nail off, saying it was my skin! The sns application was bumpy (even after filing) - there was so much product buildup under my nails that my skin and nails had fused together on my thumb and a few of my fingers, the lady was constantly trying to dig it off with her thumb nail and wipe it with lint paper a bit damp with acetone before attempting to file it off my skin with a grit file that ground against my nail more than the skin. At one point I had to stop her, ask for the file and file them myself. She went on to apply a clear GEL top coat that should be cured I might add, but instead told me to keep my hands resting by the mini fans and on the pad to dry as she started the extensions on the lady next to me. As well as the above - by this point now the nails were tacky as hell, dusty particles on them and I’ve just cried - they were the most horrific nails I have had done in my life! There was another lady doing nails who I think was the owner and she said they’d take them off and she would re do them for me - I said absolutely no way, just get them off! As soon as the product was off my nails, I grabbed my bag and left. I don’t want to tar every place with the same brush but I’m sooooooo sick and tired of places like these serving up shocking services like this, only focusing on getting as many people in the seats as possible, poor hygiene practices between customers, little to no training whatsoever - I’m convinced the certifications are fake, scrubbing a customer’s foot and then switching to filing another customer’s fingers whilst telling a waiting customer to sit down, e-filing to the point of actual pain!! This experience has 110% confirmed that I shall be doing my own nails from now on and keeping well away from these places."
