"What a great way to escape the southern cold in winter. We thoroughly enjoyed our Brisbane Valley and Kingaroy - Kilkivan Rail Trail self-guided experience. Our e-bikes were great, especially coming up those steep steep gully crossings. The link route between the 2 trails was a great ride and added variety, special thanks to Tania for route advice and keeping us off the highway. Accomodation over the 6 days was varied and comfortable. Some yummy bakeries and counter teas to be discovered in the towns.A thoroughly enjoyable experience with great off road (mostly) riding."

"Rylstone and Wollemi National Park Self Guided Cycle The cycle trip was enjoyable and relaxing. I would have preferred better accommodation than the Globe in Rylstone, but the meals at the pub up the road, where the locals were very hospitable and friendly, made up for that. Frank's farmstay was fantastic, and really made the trip, along with the Wollemi Forest excursion. The trip gave me a better understanding of the area, of towns struggling to survive after industry shuts down."

"This was our first multi day cycle trip and absolutely loved it! The organisation of the whole trip was great. So good having our bags taken from place to place. "As a reasonably new, albeit 80-year-old, cyclist; I had no idea what to expect. Overall, the trip exceeded my expectations, which were very high. Outstanding organisation, and service in every respect. As a reasonably new senior, touring cyclist the escorted tour was the obvious best choice so I could concentrate on the cycling and the breathtaking environment; rather that the organisation of accommodation and navigation. Well done, I loved it. Had no trouble maintaining the pace of the group. The Trip Leader, Shawn Flannery’s effort, attitude, and obvious detailed knowledge of the various routes and alternatives made such a difference and personal attention to detail was exceptional. His commitment to the best possible experience for all guests, (considering that most of the areas travelled were seriously affected by the floods), was outstanding, and ensured that all cyclists desires were accommodated. The rearrangements of the overall route, e.g. commenceing with Wellington as the first (albeit longest leg) I agree, made the trip better for every level of cyclist. I understand that some of the accommodation venues are under review, I would agree that a couple of the accommodation venues need to be upgraded; but overall most were very comfortable and close to meal venues for easy access."

"Have just completed a fabulous 7 day trip cycling around the Central West Cycling trail from Gulgong back to Gulgong. The accommodation, food, back up support from Shawn providing morning tea, lunch and bag transfer, was easy and thoroughly enjoyable. With only 1 wet day and some detours, we cycled along peaceful back roads enjoying scenic, rural countryside that was vibrant, green and ever changing. This was my second trip with Australian Cycling Tours and I've found them professional, well organised, offering great support and interesting itineraries showcasing a great way to see different parts of Australia without any hassle."
