"Our first cruise and the customer service lady on the phone was absolutely rude. On politely asking that the online web check in doesnt seem to be working her reply in a very rushed tone was absolutely dismissive; "No i havnt had any calls telling me that, nope its working". When it wasnt! I waited 1 hour for that! No help was given on trying to ask about excursions either- she kept saying " its all done online, its online on our website!". Though previosuly I have to say the guy before her did help me book an excursion- because thier website was showing wrong ports."
"avoid MSC at all cost! here is our experience firstly getting through to any person in their call center takes 40 minutes. when you call to ask a simple question like can you confirm the port address there response it rude " its a big ship you cant miss it" not only was a hung up on by the first staff member the second made a poor excuse stated the same think and then proceed to cancel my drink package without me requesting that when disputing this i was told i would that have to wait for them to refund me and i would have to them repurchase all over again basically only coverage provided for people waiting to get on board was for the staff leaving myself and elderly people standing in the blazing sun for over an hour. when finally onboard - even though i had repurchased the drink package yet again the front desk advised that there system doesn't show this i provided proof of purchase that had MSC logo and was told that they would still have to get verification from their head office which was now closed for the weekend. after two hours of argument i demanded that they will honor this and they will make sure any charges are removed while they sort out the issue that MSC had caused in the first place. now ontop of this they automatically charge gratuities which is covered in the drink package which i had removed and charge you $1 to their fund which is you dont check that you will be automatically charged . worst customer experience i have ever had please dont waist your time with MSC the stress we experienced the whole cruise due to their stuff up ruined our trip"
"We've been doing a wee bit of cruising of late and I've been reading up on MSC. Currently we are doing the Carnival crises of the South Pacif then we will look at other cruise line in other parts of the world. From what I've read and what I gather MSC would be a step about carnival and P&O .A bit more formal and not the cruise line where you'd go to breaky in your fluffy slippers and Jim jams. I'm a shorts and t shirt time of bloke so I'm not sure how I'd go but for those who enjoy formal dinning and 1980's themed parties , rock and glow parties and so forth it would be worth a look. Absolutely beautiful ships , and stunning destinations. Personally I think I'll throw some slacks and a shirt with a collar and check them out."
"I just want to share what a positive experience I’ve had with MSC of late! They are so helpful and so efficient and bend over backwards every time I call for anything! Thanks again for great work! I also went on one of their sheets recently, and it was beautifully decorated, the staff are so helpful and I can’t wait to get back on one soon!"
"The management is chaotic, and everyone has a different view on the covid insurance. The customer service said that it was not needed, but was unwilling to send an email to confirm it. If you asked again, they arrogantly said that you should ask your travel agent. Finally, I asked to talk to the manager, and the manager replied that I had to buy it, and sent an email saying that if I didn't buy it, I would be refused boarding. As a last resort, I was forced to buy 500 Australian dollars of insurance, and no one want to see it when I finally boarded the ship. After buying the ocean view cabin, told me that their ocean view cabin can't view the ocean and the ticket cannot be refunded. I bought a very expensive Internet service, but the speed is very slow after arriving in Greenland, and I cannot surf the Internet normally. After reacting to the network director, he told me loudly and proudly that it was because they were also going to Greenland for the first time, and they didn't know that Greenland's network was so bad. Although he didn't say it, what he meant was that I was making trouble unreasonably. They don't understand the products they sell and don't think they should take responsible for their products. The only good thing is that the restaurant service staff is very good, very patient and responsible。"
