Sofie's journey into the finance world began after she completed her Higher School Certificate. Although she initially aspired to pursue a career in ballet, knee and ankle problems redirected her path. She then explored her interests in nutrition and economics, eventually obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science (Home Economics) in 1986. Sofie gained extensive experience in the food industry and conducted research at CSIRO before transitioning into marketing research.

In 2004, Sofie took a break from her work to reconsider her career path. Inspired by her personal success in investing and encouraged by friends, she embarked on a career in financial planning. Sofie completed the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) in 2008 and became a member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA). Upholding the highest levels of professional conduct, Sofie adheres to the core values of trust, integrity, honesty, and respect.

With 14 years of experience developing and implementing financial plans, as well as 21 years of personal investment experience, Sofie has helped individuals and families from all walks of life build and protect their wealth. She also specializes in assisting clients with transitioning into a comfortable retirement. Sofie understands the challenges of starting from scratch and the importance of safeguarding one's hard-earned assets.
