"Fabulous experience. Boat was spacious, fairly smooth 20 minute ride out to the Tasman Sea and within minutes, we were on track for a breaching whale and followed a family for about 1 hour. Dolphins joined at one point too and great commentary on the boat. Being the humpback highway, highly recommended for viewing!"

The crew of the boat was professional and friendly, making sure everyone was comfortable and informed about the trip. We were lucky enough to see a group of humpback whales breaching and playing in the water, giving us a show of a lifetime. The guide was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the whales and their habitat. The boat had a comfortable seating arrangement and offered excellent vantage points to view the whales up close. "This was the highlight of our excursions at Sydney. We were blessed with luck as we spent all three hours in presence of whales, with all behaviours witnessed at close quarters. Even dolphins kept us company when boat was moving fast. Will highly recommend Fantasea as the operator."
"We had so much fun! It was a great tour. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on a Tuesday afternoon (25/Aug/2020) and there were only 13 passengers on board, so we had plenty of room to stay COVIDsafe. They said the swells were around 2.5 meters, which doesn't sound bad, but it was a little more movement than we were expecting. I enjoyed that, but the wife's stomach...not so much. They had bags and ginger chews to help with stomach issues, which was very thoughtful. The boat was large and well taken care of. On the 3 hour tour, we didn't see much for the first 1-1.5 hours, but then we found a couple of whales and they kept surfacing within meters of the boat for 45-60 minutes! It was such a great experience. I highly recommend this company and tour."
