As of 1 July 2022, please note that The Hills Shire Council has transitioned to a cashless system, and we no longer accept payments by cash or cheque at any of our facilities. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Conveniently located in the historic Hills District, approximately 30 kilometers from the Sydney CBD, Castle Hill Showground is easily accessible by public transport. The entrance to the showground is off Showground Road, at the traffic lights between intersections and lights at Gilbert Road and Carrington Road.

One of the highlights of Castle Hill Showground is the "Aub Juleff" Arena, which boasts a large trotting track and a variety of grassed areas. Whether you're a horse enthusiast or simply enjoy outdoor activities, our arena provides the perfect setting for a day of fun and relaxation.

In addition to its regular offerings, Castle Hill Showground is proud to host the Annual Castle Hill Agricultural Show, organized by the Castle Hill and Hills District Agricultural Society. This highly anticipated event showcases the best of local produce, livestock, and entertainment, attracting visitors from near and far.

Our showground features grandstands, spectator seating, stables, food serving facilities, a horse box, and office facilities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Ample car parking is also available within the showground precinct, accommodating several hundred vehicles.

The Castle Hill Showground Committee, duly appointed by The Hills Shire Council under Section 355 of the Local Government Act 1993, oversees the management and operations of the showground. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to maintain the highest standards and provide a welcoming environment for all visitors.
