"Bonnie vale it is such a great place to your night in. It has a changed code each day to keep the facilities clean and giant areas for your tent. I really recommend this to you."
"Bonnie Vale is a family-friendly campground located between Bundeena and Maianbar at the north end of Royal National Park. This popular riverside campground is known for its large sand spit, which makes it a great swimming spot. Whether you choose to pitch a tent or bring your caravan, you’re sure to have a comfortable stay at Bonnie Vale. The campground has a mix of powered and unpowered sites, and is equipped with flush toilets, hot showers and drinking water, so you won’t need to rough it. Go fishing at nearby Jibbon Beach, enjoy a barbecue by the sea or hike along Royal National Park’s long list of walking tracks. On weekends, you can even hire a kayak and paddle in the Hacking River."
"Stayed on 19th March 2023 to 20th March 2023. Great clean grassy campsite areas. Very clean bbq areas and bathrooms, well looked after by park rangers as well as fellow campers. The showers are newly renovated and provide warm water. The bbqs are plenty along with drinking water taps and power outlets. I stayed at site 69 which along with sites 62-69 are right along the waterfront with uninterrupted views. Some sites are closer to grass and bushland. The only downside for some would be the number of crickets and mosquitoes at night."
"My review is about the Bonnie Vale boat launching ramp located within Bonnie Vale. This boat ramp is a beach style launching facility that caters for launching small to medium types of recreational vessels. However 2022's storm events and coastal erosion have impacted on the boat ramps integrity. As of the date of this review it's in poor condition with a deep ledge onto the soft sand from the harder driveway soil adjoining the sand. So it's currently very difficult to get your boat in and out without getting bogged or damaging the rear of your trailer. It's even more difficult at high tide. This is a very popular watercraft launching location both for visitors and local residents, the only suitable public boat ramp on the southern side of Port Hacking. Apparently in 2022, Royal National Park had millions of visitors and they charge $12 entry fee to visit the park. This fee includes the use of park facilities including the Bonnie Vale boat launching ramp if you wish to use it. I think that paying visitors and local residents deserve a more reliable and functioning boat launching ramp. I think the current ramp requires an upgrade to a modest concrete strip type beach launching ramp. This has been talked about for years. Hopefully parks management will act to improve this facility."
