"I recently made a purchase at Sydney Tools at Jamisontown during one of their many promotions. Thoroughly regret not going to nearby competitor where I normally purchase tools. Most staff, save for one nice young bloke were completely disinterested. One staff member (maybe manager) made me and my friend particularly unsettled. I nearly walked out not completing my purchase and my friend refused to spend his money there after the first 10 seconds of being dealt with by this staff member. Would not recommend buying your tools here and to go somewhere your custom is appreciated. (my suggestion is a place that rhymes with totem pools) Otherwise, store was clean and well stocked. Product I purchased has worked well."
"A special price tag on a product dut had to pay the full price one of the sale person suggested that someone put it there to get it cheaper but it had the right information on it and it was Staplet on the box"
"Absolutely horrible customer service from Jamie I took a Milwaukee heated hoodie I bought the previous night back to this store in it’s box and all original undamaged packaging so pretty well brand new and so walking back into the store wanting to exchange it for a more expensive one I was shocked with how poorly someone could treat one of their customers just disregarding everything I was saying as Jamie could see it was still wrapped up in all it’s plastic but Jamie still refused to let me swap it out as I didn’t believe it wasn’t a product problem but just the age of as it was an older model but Jamie rudely refused and told me he had to send it to warranty as it’s a policy and it will probably be about 2 weeks before it comes back but I have had to send back a tool through them before which has had a proper fault which did eventually get fixed but that took upwards of 4 weeks so as I didn’t really have any say in it so I left it with him as to me that was all I could do and as being a customer having spent thousands at this store I really expected to be treated a little better or at-least the decency to talk to me politely and after this I thought about it more and Jamie picked up the phone again and that was the most rude display I have ever seen from someone who is ment to be displaying customer service and struggles to actually answer my questions but this will most definitely be the last time I ever use or suggest this store to anyone again"
"Purchased a Lincoln air compressor from this store got it home went to use it and found it to be leaking from the tank. Rang up and they offered no help regarding warranty at all, initially were meant to call me back which never happened. Then when i rang a second time the staff member relayed my conversation with the staff member in charge of warranty. Refused to offer a refund despite product only being a day old, just wanted to send away for repairs no consideration that I live 1.5 hrs away. Never again will I shop with these rip offs. This stores staffs are useless and company’s warranty policy isn’t great either Buyers beware."
"Good customer service and helpful at tracking down the tools you need, great range of products and brought band display and support."
