"We have been so disappointed with the service we have received at Stone real estate. I would not recommend them at all. We rented out our house with them and the communication and response time has been terrible. At the start they accidentally paid the bond into our account and because of this they withheld our rental income for awhile. To add to this they never realised this was done, we did. It made our rental income so confusing to begin with. They also took charges from our rental income without telling us. When we had our final inspection on the house, the cleaning was really disappointing. At first Jodie told me it was cleaned “adequately” which it was not. After going above her they sent a cleaner back to fix what they did not clean. But my goodness it took a few emails. We left the house spotless and cleaned the windows as part of the clean, this unfortunately was not done for us which we were told it would be. We were left with missing keys to our windows and a missing garage remote (which I have evidence they had in an email). to our garage which they are refusing to take responsibility for. I would be very cautious leasing your house out with them, if you do make sure you constantly checking invoices and charges and you take photos of everything. They are incredibly good at selling “the package” but my goodness it falls apart after that! **and in response to your response of my review, I mentioned nothing about delayed rental payments. Yes they were paid on time. Never mentioned anything about the tenants and the inspections made by family. I mentioned that YOU accidentally paid the bond into our account not the tenants.. then rather than you taken it back you withheld the rent until it was covered. This made it so confusing and very unprofessional on your behalf. The cleaning, I mentioned that after a few emails going above you (Jodie) that you then sent cleaners back to fix the cleaning that had not been done. You refused to do this at first as you thought it was cleaned adequately. I don’t really call cat hair all over our kitchen bench and dust all through the blinds and used cakes of soap and scum build up in our ensuite shower adequate. You only left one remote and you have lost our window keys which I have had to replace at my own expense. The damage to our laundry was noticed by yourself and the tenant at the last inspection, you turned around to me and said it’s now at our expense to fix it as they have moved out, even though you all saw it there at the inspection? What is the point of it if you are not taking any actions on our behalf?"
