"I really liked the veal parmi with avo (: We were excited to go for the parmi specials - one thing that was a bit annoying that night was the service My family was being looked after by a girl at the front when ordering and she made us feel uncomfortable- like she seemed cranky when we were just trying to understand the menu options for the parmi special (I get it. Bad day and you’re stuck on a Friday night working at the rsl instead of being out) My bf, his sister, mumma in law ordered a classic parmi but were served with chicken schnitzel’s and were left confused. They asked why there’s no cheese or sauce and were told (in a rude tone) “you ordered Naked Parmi’s”. Firstly, no they didn’t order Naked Parmi’s in the first place. Perhaps there was a miscommunication ? Secondly - when someone asks for a parmi - it’s obvious what a classic parmi is.. a google definition is super easy to look up ☺️ A parmi or chicken schnitzel is supposed to be unpretentious but if it’s being “renamed” to something else like “Naked” Parmi, it can be quite confusing - can it not? For the sanity of your own waitresses and customers - plz plz plz make it more clearer to us what we’re ordering. It’s just another pain point that doesn’t need to be there. The food was absolutely delicious btw, but the service made us feel uncomfortable and not want to come back …"
"The Food is great, the effort and support for my Assistance Dog is outstanding and greatly appreciated."
"Have been here a couple of times, for lunch and dinner. It is a nice setting as it is well decorated and furnished compared to the RSL itself (bit more fancy looking). Food is generally good, sometimes can be a bit too pricey for the quality. However, The $20 parmigiana on the Friday night is a bang for the buck! I've also tried the marinara before which was really good. The only other thing is that kitchen closes at before 9pm on Friday night, so does the bar, which I found strange for a weekend. Overall I've always had a nice experience here. Staff are friendly and helpful."
"Best marinara on the northern beaches! The cocktails are delicious as well!"
"Great food, reasonable prices, good service and friendly staff. Good decor and well-plated. There is a lack of vegetarian mains, which is why I'm giving it four stars in the end. I was unimpressed with the vegetarian options that I opted for chicken instead. Nevertheless I would still recommend this place."
