With a rich history dating back to 1856, St Catherine's is Australia's oldest Anglican girls' school. With 167 years of experience in educating young women, we offer a rigorous academic program and one of the broadest curriculum choices available. In 2022, we ranked 13th in the state in the Higher School Certificate (HSC), with a median ATAR of 91.50. We had nine top in-state achievers and 12 all-round achievers, with an impressive 87 percent of our students achieving a Band 6 in at least one subject.

Our junior school provides a time of wonder, exploration, and friendship-building. We lay strong foundations in literacy and numeracy to ensure that students have every opportunity to thrive academically and personally in the future. In the senior school, we further build academic and personal strength, providing tailored guidance and support for each student's pursuit of individual excellence and academic success.

Boarding at St Catherine's offers a unique way to experience school life. Our modern, comfortable, and newly-renovated boarding house accommodates 66 boarders. With dedicated boarding staff living on-site, we foster a strong sense of community while allowing girls to develop independence.
