"Remarkable food. One of the best designed degustations we have ever eaten. The attention to detail was over the top, the combinations of ingredients inspired. This is a tiny intimate dining space, there is a good variety of wine, sake offerings. Note it is pricey but you will walk away feeling that it is value for money."
"Although a very small dining room, the service and presentation were quality plus. Eatable art at its finest. Delicate delightful, delicious degustation meal. Each mouthful presented a taste of flavour combined with texture unique to the crafted art that was presented to us with each plate. Each plate was an artwork itself and with details explained by the waitress. The colour of the food in each plate harmonized with the accompanying eatable flowers leaves and condiments. The chef and waitress warmly thanked us at the door upon leaving. Such a personal touch."
"The place is cozy, quiet, but full of surprise. Service was beyond perfection. The waitress was so attentive and observation observational knowing when to serve and what we like the most. It's my anniversary with my wife they had a little surprise dish at the end too to wrap up for the special occasion. Definitely will come back again. By the way the Oyster and Wagyu were so nice :)"
"Came here as a last minute reservation having been unable to book a table for a good 12 months. Certainly seems exclusive as there are a set limit of table sittings per night. Overall rating 3.5 You will not walk out hungry. The star of the night were the miyaki oysters and it will leave lasting yearnings for the rest of your life. The other dishes were 'ok' (rating 3-4, with chewy wagyu, overpowering fish dishes or just fairly average for the price sashimi). Not memorable aside from the cheesecake which was actually amazing. Despite a reputation for italian-japanese fusion, the italian component is poorly executed and would leave italian nonna's crying (rating 1, yes actually the worst italian fusion i have ever had). The pasta was really undercooked and still hard in the centre, the mussel lacked depth of flavour in a bed of tomato paste, and the bread was fairly underwhelming in texture and flavour. I think they should really have a good hard look and second opinion on the italian component as this was very below par (and if it was sold at an italian restaurant I am certain they would go bust)."
