"If you're looking for a great atmosphere in the Sydney Hills area, I would recommend this place. The food is satisfying, and the freshly baked desserts are delightful. Above all, the ambiance of the place takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, giving you a feeling of relaxation and comfort."
"This is true hidden gem. We booked for Sunday lunch. Always try to book ahead as it gets really busy. Service was prompt and attentive, despite being so busy. The food arrived quickly. The beef burger was good but not extraordinary. The pate felt a bit on the dry side for me. But everything else was excellent. The Halloumi with honey and rosemary was delicious. The prawn pasta had a surprisingly good chili kick. We didn't spare a drop of the sauce. The standout was the dessert, seasonal bread and butter pudding. The brulee top was unexpected but brilliant. The setting is serene and picturesque. The decor is perfect and the staff are excellent. Highly recommend."
"Came to Wild Pear without booking as we went to a fair up the road and saw this place on the way back. Got a table very quickly and Olivier looked after my wife and I. Olivier was friendly, professional, attentive and just - nice. We had large cappuccinos and a sticky date pudding with ice cream inside. Olivier said it was yummy and she was correct, my wife and I shared it and loved the beautiful flavours. Go to Wild Pear and enjoy the experience."
"We purposely came by for an impromptu brunch. The parking area around the garden center was quite full but we did manage to get a space. We didn't have a booking but was able to get a table without much of a wait. We were seated in the balcony area which had a nice view of the garden shop below. The menu was quite interesting and grabbed a few items to share. The chilli crab omelette was quite nice with creamy egg surrounding the tasty crab meat. It wasn't very spicy though. The curry ham hock benedict was a special breakfast item and was very interesting and tasty. The curry hollandaise covered the eggs and had pieces of ham hock all over it. It was an interesting combination and quite nice. It was a very nice cafe for tasty food."
"Relatively simple menu. They strictly switch to lunch menu after 11am. Also it is quit pricy here. I really enjoyed the battered flathead here. Very light and crispy batter. Fish is fresh and tender. Great thick coffee. Reuben sambo is pretty on point in the meat amount department. But the meat is not salty enough so sandwich got pretty bland."
