"Came here two weeks ago for dinner with my partner and his mum for their birthday. I was super hungry. I ordered the chicken tender meal for $20. After waiting about 40mins our food finally came out. Utterly disappointed. At first I thought perhaps I ordered a kids meal by mistake, as I was greeted with three measly pieces of chicken (not even half the size of a normal tender!). I checked my order and realised I had paid for an adult sized meal. The picture did not look anywhere near like my meal. My meal looked like cat food. I went to ask the manager if the serving size was correct. After waiting for the manager to come out she said they couldn’t get the tenders right now this is all they had. ( as a hospitality worker myself if this is all we had I would let the customer know or offer a few additional pieces due to the size difference, especially when it costs $20!!!! ) Instead she somehow guilt tripped my partner into paying ANOTHER $12 just for another serve of the not chicken tenders they had. He knew I was hungry so was just trying to get me a good meal. Disappointed as I did not want to wait another 40 minutes for more tenders to add to my already stone cold cat food nor pay $32 for a meal that should have been $20!! I said let’s just cancel them and get a refund. We have still NOT received a refund. The manager came out rolling her eyes and laughed about us to her co worker as she came over to us again. Disappointed we went back to sit and eat what we could of our meal. Mid way to my first bite of the fries the staff member snatched my plate and took away my meal without saying a word. Very rude. With the offer of a refund which To this day I have still NOT RECEIVED!! I watched her put it in the bin in front of me. Extremely disappointed and as a hospitality worker myself know this is not the way anyone should be treated. The staff were awful, the food was terrible and I will not be returning. Staff training is clearly needed. I went and got maccas. Very very disgusted at the treatment of these staff."
"Don't know what has happened, but the last 2 times have been disappointing. On both occasions the buns have been stale. The lettuce on one of our burgers was old picture attached. As for the service last week, we arrived lined up got to the counter, was greeted then a food delivery guy pushed past me and went to the counter, the lady at the counter stop serving us and served the food delivery guy. She then came back to us only to have another food delivery guy push pass and she left us again and served them. Really bad customer service. Also the dining experience isn't that great, you have the music in the restaurant competing with radio in the kitchen which is playing loudly on a different channel."
"Last month, I visited Nando's with high expectations based on its reputation for delicious food and vibrant atmosphere. However, my experience was marred by a significant issue that I consider to be quite basic: the absence of water glasses for patrons. Upon being seated and reviewing the menu, I realized there were no glasses at the table to drink water. I found this to be a surprising oversight for a restaurant of Nando's caliber. It is a fundamental expectation for any dining establishment to provide appropriate tableware, including basic items like water glasses. I brought this issue to the attention of the server, who seemed indifferent to my concern. They simply stated that they did not have any glasses available at the moment. I found this response to be quite unacceptable, as it implied a lack of preparation or attention to customer needs. I hope that Nando's management takes this feedback constructively and addresses the issue promptly. I believe that providing the most basic amenities, like water glasses, is essential for a restaurant aiming to deliver a positive dining experience."
"We came and went to order for two. We ordered a wrap and quarter chicken. I asked if it came with anything and then he mentioned it'd have to be added on which was fine. After adding on a meal to ONE of the meals we ordered I paid and saw on the receipt that only one of them had it. I kindly asked if he could make the other a meal and it was refused. They outright told me it is impossible for them to cancel and replace the order or even add the meal on and pay the difference. I had to order an entirely separate set of chips and drinks to get it. Costing a substantial amount more of course. While this was extremely silly and disappointing, we continued to sit down. There's food from the previous people who sat on the table, I asked two staff members if they could clean up the table, no-one came. I waited approximately 15min for the food, when it did arrive, it was missing the sides. I had to ask for cutlery, drink came wrong. Finally they took the old plates. Didn't even offer to wipe the table. The chicken was fine upto Nando's standard. The service was shockingly bad. The place was dirty, nothing was getting cleaned."
