"My request for a basic nail paint started off well and i was tended to quite efficiently as a walk- in customer with multiple bookings on a Sunday. However once my nails were painted I was sitting in front of a fan for an hour whilst the nail technician started and finished another ladies manicure. The lady did not communicate with me as to if my nails were dry for me to leave or indicate when I was able to leave so I waited until she finished the other lady as well as tend to other clients. Highly disappointed as she provided poor customer service. Would not go back or recommend to others."

I feel like a client and not a rushed quick fix customer. I walk out of there satisfied and pampered. Highly recommend. Bonus, nice salon too!"

"My friend and I recently visited this nail salon for her birthday to pamper ourselves, but unfortunately, our experience was highly disappointing. While the salon itself is clean and luxurious, we found the services to be far from professional. The technician who worked on my nails seemed inexperienced and lacked attention to detail. During the manicure, she cut my cuticles twice… Additionally, the removal of my old gel polish was also painful, and I didn't feel that the technician took enough care. The real issue, however, was with the pedicure. The technician applied six layers of polish, but each layer was uneven and poorly done. Every time she put my foot under the LED light, she would scratch the freshly painted layer and ruin the finish. Despite my feedback, which I gave three times, she didn't seem to take it seriously, and the same mistakes were repeated. The high price of the services did not match the quality at all. We were expecting a professional and quality experience given the prices charged, the location, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Overall, my friend and I both left highly disappointed and would not recommend this nail salon to others. While the environment is pleasant, the quality of service does not meet the standards you would expect from a business in this location. I would suggest that the salon invests in better training for their technicians. Would not recommend"

"I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but I’m really disappointed by Laque. First I want to say that my manicure has lasted perfectly for 4 weeks (acrylic with gel), can’t fault them there. However their pedicures and customer service is seriously slacking. I had a pedicure treatment (hard skin removal and massage) and it was pointless. The massage was very light and they barely touched my feet with the scrub. So literally don’t bother adding that on. A few days after my shellac pedicure they started to discolour going from red to yellow. They finally managed to book me in to redo them 2 weeks after my original appointment (when I told them my availability they read my message and didn’t reply, so I had to chase up). Alas, the same thing happened and my toes started going yellow again after just 3 days. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and booked future appointments in with them in advance. 3 days before I get an email saying “you have an appointment on the 17th of Jan at 10:30am, unfortunately I will have to reschedule this. Would you be able to do 1pm?” Along with this email I had one to CONFIRM my appointment had been moved before I even replied! Well no, I can’t do 1pm or I would have booked for then. That’s a huge time difference. I replied asking to do the same time on a different day, nearly 24 hours later no reply. So I’ve cancelled my future appointments and finding elsewhere. It’s just not good enough from a “luxury” salon. Such a shame as I really wanted to like them."
