"Richmond School of Arts | The Murray Wing Room Hire What a stunning place. RSoA is a piece of Heritage charm situated in the heart of Richmond since 1866 which still radiates its characteristics today. It was the perfect location to hold our event with a very reasonable fee that included chairs, tables, spacious kitchen with a commercial fridge/stove, audio-visual system, air-conditioned and access straight off the adjacent Carpark. Thank you again for being so accommodating and attentive to our needs. We couldn’t have picked a better venue."
"I went to Tango classes at the School of Arts in Richmond and really enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be going back. It's on Wednesday evening at 7.30-8.30 at a cost of $20 please feel free to come and join us. Young or old, all welcome"
"Dreadful incompetency in all aspects of dealing with the committee which is the caretaker of this glorious building. It is a travesty this gem of a theatre sits in the Hawkesbury as the only theatre space but is handled with incompetence and disdain for the public: it publishes nothing to the public of its workings, decisions, meetings, you cannot find it's charter, it's Constitution or anything, in fact. Hireage is a nightmare with transactions changed at will, bookings disrupted, emails and complaints ignored, even public abuse witnessed towards a hirer by parents helping at a concert. Now it seems groups that were using the theatre have left rather than deal with this committee and that lovely theatre which had begun to hum with new shows and concerts is once again hosting just the Richmond Players and Zumba classes. This is a publicly-owned building and not owned or administered by the Council. Everyone here in the Hawkesbury owns this building and ought to demand MUCH better behaviour, and the total transparency in all this committee's workings. Such basic information is easily accessible and presented by other publicly-funded entities such as the Richmond Neighbourhood Centre so why not here?"
"It is so beautiful to see someone as driven, kind and talented as Meera Webster (Pitch Perfect Vocal Studio) leading our youth through the grass roots of stage performance. Its only when nurturing performers through kind instructional teachings that our local youth can gain the vision they need to see themselves up on the world stage. A school of arts that actually cares about art is so lovely to see."
"Went for a tango class, stayed for a night of fun filled dance lessons. Good facilities available and excellent instructors. 10/10 would attend again. (BYO Dance partner is recommended from me, personally)"
