"Friendly staff and always have the products I need. :) happy customer"
"Happy with coverage of my gray regrowth at $145 when I went mid June. I am not sure if that’s cheap or not as I am not taking much notice of price, I guess. However, I am having a second thought because the man who did my hair was smelling smoke and I couldn’t make suggestions because he said he’s been doing it for so long so he knew what he was doing. He probably just didn’t know good manners. No, I’m not going back because why ruin my day."
"If you are obsessed like me with your crowning glory this place has it all... colours accessories hair curlers, driers... even on site touch ups. Try youll love!"
"Not enough information given about hair color products bought - shower looks like a murder scene. Spent nearly 2 hours with bleach and toothbrushes getting it out of the grouting. Some stains are permanent, including the timber flooring. Not taking any chances with the color refreshing shampoo - very expensive at $29 for the bottle. Have to throw it in the bin unused, because they won't refund - calling it a 'change of mind'. It's a shame to have had such a bad customer service experience, because the young man originally helping was very nice, but the woman who took over led to a bad experience."
"If you’re going to get your hair done here, I hope you’ve got an excellent hat collection. Had an appointment booked in here two days before Christmas. Standard on scalp bleach with the aim of walking out with my usual - blonde hair. Being a longtime customer of the Chapel and Brighton stores (for product and hair appointments) I was always used to them nailing the colour and walking out stoked... Not this time. No exaggeration, I walked out of the salon with fluorescent pink hair (imagine a fluoro pink highlighther, on my head) if you’d like to see photos, leave your email below and I’ll send you some pics. Despite telling the stylist my hair grabs toner like crazy, she piled it on and left it for way too long, when washing the toner out, she looked alarmed and I just knew my hair was f’d. The stylist didn’t offer to try to fix it at all and to add salt into the freshly cut wound, I had the stylists walking past saying “that looks really cool” and I was then asked to feature on their Instagram. I’d give them five stars if their slogan was “walk in and have absolutely no idea what colour you’ll walk out with” To top it off I was charged more than usual. I called in and wrote to their ‘customer service centre’ for two weeks before getting a response, I was told that the owner said I walked out happy and there was nothing that they could do. My last email to their ‘customer service centre’ has gone unansnwered. The owner mistook the fact that I was being polite, saying things like “it’s just hair” to ensure the hairdresser didn’t feel bad. Rocking up to Christmas lunch after not seeing my family for a year with fluorescent pink hair was humiliating. As the colour faded out, my hair looked ridiculous, it was yellow and no amount of toner could fix it so I wore a hat for two months. Yesterday I finally had the colour fixed at Oscar and Oscar, they were brilliant. Just spend a bit of extra cash on a colourist who can deliver what you ask for. It’ll save you a tonne of money and embarrassment."
