"Asked for balayage with reference to this photo, received something very different instead. I requested a subtle blonde I had several coworkers and friends insist I go back and get it toned to a darker shade, as perhaps the staff have misunderstood my request (although there was no blonde mentioned at all). I was reluctant to go back as the staff member spent a lot of time and effort into my hair and I did not want to offend them, but it seemed only fair to give them a chance to fix it rather than complain about their work. I received a poor reaction where staff were adamant they had done what was requested. They did not seem to listen when I said there was straw coloured chunks in my hair that stood out in the natural light, and uneven strands of grey hair (ash coloured). As it was clear the staff were not happy that I wanted to change my hair at all, I did not trust them to tone it down and just told them to turn it back to natural. I was very upset after spending $190 only to be charged another $75 because they refused to believe that the service they provided was not what we agreed on. The manager gave me a hair serum for free to stop me from being upset, even though they had barely listened to my issues with the hair. I was very disappointed in the way they handled the situation, as staff were friendly and approachable in the beginning and kept brushing off my concerns. From the reactions of others who saw my hair, the balayage looked poorly done, as well as very different to the requested style."
