"My daughter referred me to Ambo Ars as she used to go on and on about how wonderful he is. I thought she might have exaggerated a little but tried it out. I have been a client now for almost 3 years and can honestly say that there was no exaggeration from my daughter. Best hair cut/colour I have ever had in my life. It's like visiting a friend. The atmosphere the excellent service and the results are fantastic. No waiting around for hours. Always right on schedule and best head massage ever. I was a bit hesitant about writing this, as if he has too many clients I won't get in for my appointment LOL. My hairdresser is definitely the best. Viv"

"My friend gave me a hair coupon from this place a while ago and the package was far too good to be true. 1st time I had a great cut. 2nd time was the highlights and a semi, I came in with full disclosure that i had use a box dye. I felt confident and reassured after the first visit. I went bright orange. This was the apprentice hairdresser who was taking the voucher clients at the time. She then said 'you look like a sunrise' and all while I was obviously upset. I'm still shocked. No follow up was made even though I said it wasn't right. I found an amazing hairdresser else where who I have only just started to trust to dye my hair after that experience. One positive about covid was I could let it all grow out then cut off the colour. Use your own discretion with these vouchers. I will never trust any make over package deal again and even better just to be experience for an apprentice. In response to the owner: Yes this was the correct salon. The apprentice name was Maddy. This was 2017 and I will admit it's been a long time since the appointment but seeing a new hairdresser to go blonde has flared up my trust issues that were rooted from that experience. I cut my hair short as soon as I could to remove the orange colour and have not coloured it since that day. Since covid I have been able to grow it long enough to start again."
