"Great location. Rooms clean. Amazing rooftop area with nice city views. Staff is 10/10, no question about it. Not really for a long stay, but for a few nights it's a great place."
"It s a party hostel, to avoid if you want some rest. It s loud all day & night long and no one seems to care. The bathrooms absolutely need an upgrade. The kitchen is crowded and there are only 3 tables in the dining room. But still, the location is great and the beds are comfy if it s all you need."
"Impossible to rest here, people are too loud and nobody of the staff seem to care about it although there are rules that ask people to keep quiet. What they really care about is that you do your dishes, because they even have cameras in the kitchen and signs everywhere. The free breakfast is generous but the kitchen is too small, also impossible to cook. Facilities could be newer and cleaner as well. All in all, not the vest hostel I've been to, but I guess city hostels are all similar."
"Very central hostel with nice, even though a bit small bedrooms. Reception staff was friendly and general cleanliness was good. Big negatives were the extremely small kitchen and eating areas. Especially during breakfast, lunch and dinner you couldn't even walk in the kitchen and just about 20 seats for such a big hostel are way too few. Also it was a bit loud during the night because people were partying in the hallways."
"Stayed here for the past week. Upon arrival the lady on the desk was very blunt and abrupt. Did not tell us anything about the hostel, communal areas, washing machine facilities, toilets etc, nothing. First impression not great, got to the room and although everything is new, it seems they have tried to cram too many people in the rooms just to make up numbers. I was in a 6 bed dorm and there was literally not even enough floor space for us to stand and sort out our stuff. After a night we realised we had no fan, we informed the staff (who are all lovely apart from the woman that greeted us) they said we were the only room that didn't have one and they would sort it. This took them 3 days until we got a fan, they gave us the one out of the office so we were happy. Then the next morning, around 7AM the lady from reception just walked in, no knocking, and requested the fan back, half the room was asleep. Leaving us with no fan AGAIN, a day later they put one in. That same day i came back from work to hear my room had flooded due to the shower leaving our things soaking, reception was informed and replied with "oh yeah this has happened at another hostel which used the same plumber' surely after knowing this information they would contact a different plumber to check over the work that had been done to prevent this problem? It has really let down the fact the staff are really friendly and approachable, although i think they have poor communication skills with each other. Also they are VERY on top with cleaning, which is great, although knocking on doors at 7 in the morning is a bit early i think seen as most people in the hostel will be asleep. I will not be staying here again. Full of problems and promised solutions."
