"Says open but it's bloody closed Holidays or not get your act together never go back waste my time"
"I have Yorkshire Terriers who are very fussy, and after trying different wet foods over the past year I found they enjoy the canned food, particularly the kangaroo with sweet potatoes and beans. Due to the pandemic New Zealand has a shortage in pet food and our local stores have run out of supply, but I'm happy to drive 45-50 minutes into the city to go supermarket hopping just to find it. I wash and recycle all my cans but I read the other reviews and its a shame they still sell food in non-recyclable packaging, I hope this will change in the future."
"My doggies absolutely love the VIP Pet foods Paws Fresh meat cubes. However, I wonder why they come in containers that have to be binned. Could VIP pet foods consider using plastic that can be recycled?"
"Okay. I truly am very disappointed that once again I find myself having to give another negative review on the quality of VIP's Gourmet Chicken Dog Roll 3kg. A few months back I felt the only way to get some kind of response from VIP Petfoods. At that time, after purchasing that particular product aforementioned, when cutting through the outer packaging, an inordinate amount of liquid came spurting out and sprayed not only my clothing, but the counter top and the floor also. My immediate thought was that perhaps the supermarket from whence I purchased the product may have stored it inappropriately, causing that to happen. Anyway, after a few more occasions of this happening again, and having purchased the product from two other supermarkets, I came to the conclusion that this must be caused by a manufacturing level error. I thought that maybe the manufacturer was adding excess water to cut down on costs, whilst keeping the same weight of the product. After a few more occasions of this,I felt it necessary to post a negative review in order to maybe make the manufacturer take notice and cease whatever it was they were doing in the manufacturing process and to produce a quality product again. After a while, I heard from a VIP company representative, who assured me they were aware of the issue and were taking the necessary steps to ensure that this problem would be resolved. They also offered compensation for the money I had outlaid for this inferior product, which I accepted. I also accepted the reason that was given as to the cause of the issue, something to do with retooling of some of the factories processing equipment, or the relocation of some of the plants equipment, to be honest, my memory of the exact excuse is a bit hazy.Well, the product returned to normal after another couple of weeks, and I thought that the issue was behind us. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and the issue has reared its ugly head again. So now, I have no other choice to begin to feed my very much loved dog a product that I always felt was inferior to the one I had been feeding him for years. I find it very disappointing and disillusioning that maybe my first instinct was correct, that being that water is now being introduced into the petfood roll to save on costs. To me, that is a blatant cash grab and a slap in the face to loyal customers. What have you got to say for yourself this time, VIP Petfoods? I look forward to hearing your reasons this time, but I unfortunately doubt strongly whether I will accept your excuses in good faith as I did previously. I await your response."
