"Worst hotel experience ever. Certainly not what i'd expect from a 4 star hotel and Meriton... Their housekeeping is horrible. Hairs everywhere on the wall of our bathroom. During 7 days of our stay, housekeeping only been done once. I was expecting my room to be cleaned and amenities filled up everyday as stated on the guest welcome book. (It is said that they would do an 'Express service' EVERYDAY to replace the towel, made the bed, fill up the amenities. ) If the housekeeping is only done every 4 days then you should then say so in the welcome book isn't it? They certainly fail to deliver what they promise. And this is probably false advertisement as well. The amenities such as coffee, soap and shampoo are only get filled up every 4 days. Mind you there were two of us and from the day we checked in, they only provide us 1 each of the personal cares products (a tiny tube of soap, shampoo, body lotion, conditioner) no toothbrush, no toothpaste. 4 packet of instant coffee, 4 coffee capsules (which the coffee machine were not working) 2 toilet rolls. It is only enough for both of us for 3 days max! Not the customer service you would expect from a 4-star hotel... If you don't mind paying the price of a 4-star hotel to stay in a room of your own mess and full bin and a 4-day old towel then you are probably going to enjoy it here."
"Stayed here for the night due to it being within walking distance of the SCG for the Swans and Eagles game. Certainly not worth $450 a night but the apartment style room was neat and tidy. Strange to have the bathroom light switch on the outside of the bathroom? Also, car parking should have been free but you pay $25 for the space."
"Stayed here twice in the past 4 weeks. The first one was a pleasant experience: check-in was quick and we were assigned a spacious and well-equipped 1-bedroom flat. The washing machine leaking, and the dryer not working but we could live with that as we didn't need to do a lot of washing. For our second stay, we booked a studio loft. It was not the smoothest of check-ins. The hotel reception staff did not really know where our rooms were, and carting all our checked luggage and tower backpack was an absolute joke after our very long trip. We could not use the hotel trolley as we were to asked to go up a set of stairs, and there was no lift access to our suite. After 30 minutes of trying to navigate the whole place with all our luggage and backpacks, we finally got to our suite. It was horrendous, think someone threw a wild party where the fridge has been punched multiple times, blu tack all over the ceiling with remnants of the party decor, unknown liquids staining the couch, bathroom walls and floor and some hair strands in the bathroom. The whole place smelled musty. I went back to reception and asked for a change of room, which gladly they did and apologetically so. Our new room was much better but it appears that booking a smaller room for $20 less per night, the quality of their accommodation dramatically dropped. Wouldn't recommend to stay here if you're particular about cleanliness and everything in good working condition. Suggestion to management: I understand that you can't replace furniture and appliances very frequently but please make sure that you put in enough budget for routine and periodic cleaning, as well as repair and maintenance. As for the 'battered' fridge, it's in suite 626. Please replace it before you assign it to another guest."
"THIEVES. I would never recommend any one to stay here unless you wish for your most valuable items to ‘miraculously’ disappear from the vicinity of the hotel. My partner was staying at this hotel and accidentally left behind his designer Bag with a fair amount of money inside. When he contacted the hotel the following day to let them know, they were not helpful at all and we were given the excuse "we'll check with house keeping' Gave them the benefit of the doubt and expected they would contact us to keep us updated. But no. No effort at all. What outraged me the most, was the Disgusting treatment I received from Paul the front office supervisor and the woman working with him on Saturday 25.03.2023. They thought it would be a good idea to make a fool of me, screen my number and hang up on all my phone calls when I kindly asked to speak to someone regarding my bag that was clearly stolen from this hotel. When I called from another phone they answered, and once they heard my voice they Hung up. Later they accused me of speaking rudely over the phone earlier, when I had not raised my voice, swore, insulted or disrespected any staff at all. Incredibly immature way of handling things, just proves to me their guilty. Took this hotel over a week to finally investigate this. I am disgusted that this hotel could not find a solution for me and still my belongings are missing. When I asked for a refund of the stay (even though it’s less than the value of belongings) they could not even do that as apparently the hotel does not take responsibility for items stolen from their premises… great to see thieves are protected now."
