"I have been to Urban Spa Chatswood and other outlets previously and always had positive experiences. My facial was really pleasant and left my skin feeling great however as some other reviews have indicated, the hard sales push is quite a dampener on what would otherwise have been a nice relaxing experience. My therapist tried to upsell my package before the treatment began (in the initial consult), again during my treatment after the “skin analysis” under light, and again in the post-treatment chat. I understand it’s a business but this is too much! Especially during the treatment when I had just had my massage and was trying to relax whilst being spoken to at length about my skin type and the additional add on recommendations. Also some feedback that it may provide a better experience to do the facial first as the bright light for the skin analysis (more eye protection needed) and talking to the beautician interrupts the flow from the massage."

"Went there for the summer deal, chose three half-hour options, plus a complimentary hour-hour body polish from another deal I bought. The actual treatment was great, I felt pampered and relaxed. But what was supposed to be a 2 hour treatment finished in just less than 1.5 hours. The irony is one of my options paid was to increase the massage time by half hour so I could just relax for longer. Now I feel like the additional money paid was just completely ripped off me. Not happy :("
