"A nice island in the middle of Sydney, Cockatoo island offered both historical/paranormal tour and overnight camping at pre-determined locations near the wharf. The tents were nicely setup and you can request for extra services and bbq supplies during your stay. This is the perfect location for a quick weekend retreat and have outdoor BBQ with friends and family."

"Amazing amazing camping site. There is communal kitchen, campfire and sitting area. One of the amazing sunset spot in Sydney. We stayed for a night. Highly recommended. You can even camp with your own tents. Historic island and many horror stories. We even went ghost haunting but was no luck. It’s an amazing weekend gateway. You have to take wharf to the island."

"Great tents and a stunning view. We were a big group so sitting around the camp fire was fun. An early morning walk to the prison is still pretty spooky as it is to walk in the shopping yard and tunnels at night. Fun for all ages."

"Had a really good stay. The tents were clean, the toilets and showers were fine and the Cafe was well priced. The walk around the island was most interesting - particularly the convict buildings and the shipbuilding section."
