"Rooms are small as I guess your just staying overnight to catch the early flight out . Bath rooms showing their age but the bed was comfortable. Had a meal over at the Mantra along side the Ibis . Great food and service ."

"Don’t stay here. Terrible room, bathrooms flood, generally grotty place to be. Very much regret booking this place. Also look out for airport taxis… charged us $75 aud for a 4 minute drive. Bad experience overall other than check in was easy and flexible"

"Booked for an overnight layover which was decently convenient. The location is within walking distance of the domestic side. What is completely inexcusable is the fact they falsely advertise the room amenities. This includes listing all the rooms as queen size beds. The reality is you get a twin size bed. This might seem minor but I am too tall for the length of a twin and when I specifically book something I expect to receive it. I was holding off making this review as I gave ibis a chance to return a query email I sent regarding this. Even with my platinum status with Accor this email has gone unanswered after several weeks. The area of the hotel is quite noisy and the walls and windows are thin so all the noise is heard all night. Overall you won't get much sleep which is quite the shame."

"My husband & I were only in for one night - needing a place to sleep. We had travelled to Sydney by rail after lunch on one day, and we're catching a flight the next day, hence just the o/night stay. The bed was very comfortable; plenty of hot water for a shower; everything was spotless; access to meals convenient (next door). Staff at reception were welcoming and friendly; gave us directions when requested, and when booking shuttle bus seats for us, left us in no doubt when and where we would board. We would not hesitate to utilise the convenience of the Ibis Budget Sydney Airport for future trips like this one."

"Sub par but it sort of works out if you can walk the ten minutes from T2. It's extremely basic but bed was good enough to sleep on. I didn't bother taking the shuttle bus service for 20 dollars because I don't see value with the total expense; you're better off staying elsewhere and taking a train there for a fraction of the price. The woman at the reception who checked me in was nice and helpful."
