"The worst place I’ve ever stayed. There was something wrong with plumbing with the vanity, as the water didn’t drain straight away. I was cold at night and couldn’t find any extra blankets, so had to ask the next day. The mini fridge had something living in the freezer, even the staff couldn’t remove it, but apologised. The bed rolled around the room when you got into it, as it was on wheels. The quilt wasn’t covered, but sandwiched between 2 sheets, so the bedding got twisted during sleep. No hairdryer either. Very noisy - right next to KFC / McDonalds, with noisy teenagers hanging out in the car park - I understand that the hotel can’t help this, but to charge $149 per night is outrageous. I’ve stayed in much better places for that price, in the Sydney CBD. They advertise $98 per night, and when I questioned the staff about paying $149 per night, I was told it is increased because of a major event - what a poor excuse. Disgusting place to stay."

"No deposit required. Some hotels in Australia require deposits! Great spacious place. Affordable. Quiet. Typical IBIS type hotels. Compact, functional, clean rooms. Keep a note of reception hours. Otherwise, you may have to call at night to get your envelope with keys. Reception is not open 24 x 7 like India! It has an automatic machine for drinks. It has laundry service inside for 4 AUD for cleaning and 4 AUD for drying. It only accepted 1 and 2 dollars, which can be a pain if you are a foreigner. This was my only issue with the hotel! One time cleaning and drying should be free and included in price for those staying for a week or longer! There is a 24 x 7 shop nearby where you can buy eating snacks, buy cheap coffee 1.5 AUD for small and 2.5 AUD for regular size coffee. The shop has mostly Indian reception guys, usually students doing part time job. It is in strathfield. To go to Central you need to take the overbridge and take M90 bus that goes to strathfield station. Then you have access to going anywhere especially in central or harbour near opera house, etc. There are Mc Donald and KFC nearby. The Mc Donald is open 24 x 7 but other shops usually close by 10pm. It has good parking space. There is small TV. There are water boilers, a small fridge, and hangers. There is AC."

"The rooms are just like the pics but quite older than expected. The bed is comfortable but what is really uncomfortable is the air conditioning system which is extremely noise, probably because old like the building! The toilet and shower spaces are limited and a toilet brush would be appreciated. The cleaning should be deeper, and not only limited to the dress the bed and changing towels every 3 days. The reseption is friendly and helpful, they arrange to run with what they have..."

"The bathroom smelt like an airline toilet, like urine. There was a mouldy smell emanating from the sink and the water tasted mouldy and disgusting. The bed was uncomfortable and we were only given one pillow each. I asked at front desk for another pillow each for 3 people and was reluctantly given them, however I was made to feel like my request was totally unreasonable. Overall, I would not recommend nor would I stay here again. I would also think twice about staying at any Accor or Ibis hotels because of my experience."
