"The best coffee shop in town for service! Elroy is a character and always has everything calm, under control and a enjoyable experience for all visitors! The pastries, what a divine choice and all delicious to tantalise those who have a sweet tooth! Coffee is fabulous and has a unique taste to all others in Sligo (and strong, love it) Religiously visit here, although never had food, the portions are on point and the dishes look amazing! Great place to come and enjoy the chat with others, or sit and watch the world go by with a book/studies"
"Oh my oh my! Lovely place, very cozy, super friendly staff and delicious food and coffee With lots of vegetarian options and great selection of patisserie. We had the Eggs Florentine, the hollandaise sauce was great and the muffin was buttery with a bit of crunch, super tasty. We also had the French Toast was lovely not too sweet and full of flavors with berries and nuts. The cappuccino was perfectly proportioned and the coffee roast was amazing. Highly recommended."
"Pastries are delicious and fresh. Had the Harissa eggs, perfectly balanced and flavourful. Oat flat white has me questioning my favourite coffee shops, was absolutely delicious!"
"Bonjour tout le monde! There is a new eatery adorning the streets of Sligo, and I feel the need to rename an entire street in its honour. So, henceforth, Markievicz road is to be called Rue de Markievicz, because our beautiful little corner of the world has just had the honour of St. Honorè bestowed upon it. St. Honorè is the patron saint of bakers, and this new patisserie is straight from the boulevards of Paris. The smell of breads and pastries fill the air, along with the warming scent of fresh coffee. Sandwiches are exceptional. Fresh is a given, but it’s just how fresh they are that is different… I reckon they must have Honorè herself in the kitchen proving the sourdough before baking it to that crunchy but chewy crust of perfection. The lightness of the baguette centre is filled with all manner of loveliness, I had chicken and apricot on a bed of leaves and the simplicity of it was nothing short of a revelation! The display fridge is full to overflowing with all manner of temptation. New York baked vanilla cheesecake, apple slices glazed with a glossy syrup, and macarons to die for, in their vibrant coloured airy loveliness. French staples greet you inside the door, croissants, pain au chocolat, apple puffs, custard slices… these are not what we’re used to in Sligo. They haven’t come out of a freezer. They are clearly freshly folded puff pastry with an unmistakable buttery lightness. To be able to take something as simple as these are, and elevate them to the level that has been done here takes a phenomenally talented chef. Treat yourself to a coffee, and a little slice of Paris on the banks of our very own Garavogue… it’s only a matter of time until there are onion sellers walking around from Holborn street, and stalls selling Eiffel Tower paraphernalia outside the Ulster Bank. St. Honorè is here to stay, and Sligo will be all the better for it!"
