Reviews
"One of the many fine walks and trails in Sligo. Knocknashee offers fine views of the Sligo Peninsula boasting views of the Ox Mountains, Croagh Patrick and Benbulben. I have high praise for this walk and is by far my favourite to walk in the County"
"Short but lovely designed trail up this hill that consists of a gravel path and a set of wooden steps. There's a good pull up. Don't underestimate it. Once up on the hill it's a short walk over to the cairn. Fabulous views all the way up."
"Lovely walk but steep in places, be careful on descent. On a clear day the views would be fantastic. An added bonus is the kiosk which has coffee (instant) and wafer ice cream among other items."
"Newly patched, great job Sligo County Council and everyone involved. Great views of the aourrounding countryside."
"Lovely walk up the hill. The first part is a steep hard sandy path with some steps until you get to the stile and it's a easy grass track to the top. There is a donation box inside the gate with crisps and water. What stunning 360 degree views. Benbulbin can be seen in the distance. In actual fact this hill looks similar to Benbulbin from a distance with its flat top. There are various wooden sculptures on the way up."
