"I have been going to the Leisure centre for years and it is by far the best gym in westport in terms of overall facilities, price and location…. The gym is newly renovated and has amazing equipments and the pool, sauna and steam room are amazing….The staff make the leisure centre the best in Westport by far and go above and beyond always…. Can never imagine myself using another gym in Mayo!!"
"My wife and me had had a swim in the pool and noticed the tap water bottle refill facility on our way out. I am staying near by with two very thirsty dogs,it's a very hot day,I thought I'd return with a large refillable bottle. I was filling this when a voice shouted at me that that wasn't what the facility was for! It was only for people who'd used the facilities. I said I had and had a ticket to prove this.the argument then changed to 'the bottle is too big,I replied what does it matter what size the bottle is? It's a refillable bottle!!! No reply...what a jobsworth!!! I must admit the reception person made me feel humiliated in front of the other people in reception area,I felt how traveling people must feel. This access to free clean drinking water ,open to all is a great idea and could stop the use of single use plastic bottles,if only people would learn what the scheme is for. The only restriction is the opening hours of the premises the unit providing the tap water is situated. It only takes one bully to spoil it."
