I was one of the first people to avail of the early bird offer and I’ve emailed around 5 times with no response Very poor communication and misleading. Tendancy to lie about to progress of your J1 application and lead you to believe its ready when its not. Little to know guidence or support with rude staff"

"Very close to a SCAM company. I would very strongly advise against going with J1 Ireland. The process is handled very unprofessionally. The visa sponsor didn't only offer zero help to me but he actually went out of his way to lead to me losing my internship. Upon losing my internship I was then told my time in America was up and I had to go home on a days notice. I paid a lot of money for a year in America, did my part in getting an internship and was then sent home after 3 months. 2 out of 4 friends got sent home, being sent home should be a last resort and a rare exception, not a common occurrence. If you value your money, peace of mind and time & effort, please consider other company's. If you're still considering going with J1 Ireland please get in contact with anyone you may know who's currently on a programme with them or has been in the past, from talking to others I haven't been the only one massively let down."

"DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY !! Started my visa application 2 months ago with the advertised on their website it would be done by now. After sending on many documents and extra documents, while having to keep prompting them on updating on my application. My friends go with other agent/sponsor/company and non get a threat saying my visa will get refused, they all have the same situation like me (Not returning to Ireland after J1). Even though he say this to all other applicant but why other company do not say that to my friends who also doing J1???? And in the end they just told me they can't process my application and that's the end of it. Do not even start with this company, completely waste of time and effort!!"
