"MONEY SCAMMER AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We went to this garage as we needed a new timing belt for our car. He kept the car for 24 hours before even giving us a price. Finally he told us it would cost... €1,900 to replace the timing belt! We told him that is more than four times the price it should cost and that we were not happy to pay that. We told him we wanted our car back. He said we can collect the car the following day but we had to pay him €80 for his trouble even though he had done zero work on the car. He said he would not give us back the keys unless we paid the €80. We were very angry but what could we do, so we paid the €80 and took the car to a different mechanic who replaced the timing belt for €400. We told the other mechanic how much this guy tried to charge us and the other mechanic was shocked. Also the courtesy car this money scammer gave us for 24 hours absolutely stank of fish, as in raw rotten fish! Awful service the garda should really shut this guy down."
