"Reposting my comment as it was removed… HORRIBLE SERVICE I ordered a bike from different shop and it arrived partly assembled. The company that I bought it from said it will pay to assemble it in my local store. In case it breaks down the company I have purchased it from will covers the costs. I am not driving myself, so had to take a taxi to drop it of to Richard Walsh's Cycle. First of all he saw me bringing in reassembled bike and for 10 minutes he wouldn't even acknowledge my presence. He was blowing up the tires for another person but he saw me and we had an eye contact and yet he didn't even say hi... when the customer left and I came up to him asking to help assemble the bike he wouldn't even let me finish said 'NO' straight away... I said that I don't even drive like I had to take taxi to bring it down cos it's so heavy... on what he said not 'my problem'……. I literally was standing there begging to do it for me. I would obviously paid for his services. He was selling exactly the same bikes, so he would have known how to do it, but he just wouldn't help. Honestly, I have felt so humiliated... I would understood if he was busy with the customer and had no time, but HE WASN'T!!! The shop was empty and the reason he didn't want to assemble it is because he was selling exactly the same bikes…"
"Great service and super helpful old school bike shop"
"“Hit the brakes Jack !! Purchased 4 no. Pairs of brake pads. Advised cost was €10 per pair and that Halfords were charging €12 for same. However, I was given a 10% discount, total cost €35. That sixth sense was telling me it just wasn't right. Googled the brand name on the pads and Chain Reaction was selling them at €4.99 per pair. Returned items for refund. These break pad prices were overly inflated, wouldn't recommend."
"Excellent customer service and value for money, owner went above and beyond to accommodate and help us with a couple of mechanical issues over the course of a very enjoyable cycling weekend In Galway."
