"This pub was empty when we entered, excepting some men at the bar. We bought a bottle of wine but were not given glasses. After waiting around 10-15 mins, I grabbed two water glasses from behind the bar as there appeared to be no staff about. A man sitting at the bar jumped up, came up to me where I sat and spoke at me very aggressively. I felt quite frightened by his aggression, and got out of there fast. I've no clue what his role was, but he was really unpleasant. Not what you expect in an Irish boozer. We went to Daly's, which was full of life and music and good fun."
"The most magnificent off licence I have been in. Outstanding choice all crammed into the equivalent of several phone boxes. Mind blowing, quaint and friendly with a stunning selection of wines. I only wish we had more like this in Ireland. Where else would one see a 99 Dom Perignon lying on the counter? Brilliant."
"The best whiskey selection I've seen in a bar. Great staff and chatty locals what's not to like."
