"Absolutely awful framing service. Save yourself the time and go to somewhere that offers quality work and customer service. Job 1) Stood in store for 20+ mins. When finally seen, Ivan decided to serve another customer in the middle of our discussion so I was left hanging around. After ten minutes I left the store and got the job done elsewhere Job 2) Dropped posters in for framing. Ten days later the posters were framed upside down and had to be rehung upon collection. There was also dust and dirt marks inside my mount and frame. He also decided not to listen and forgot to put pin backs on my frame so it was too late by then so I left with the job not been done to my full satisfaction. Job 3) Dropped 4 large pieces in for framing. Although I've had numerous bad experiences I decided I would give Ivan another chance as he is a local business. 2 weeks later I ring to check if my job is complete and he said he forgot my name, number and what I wanted done so everything was still sat there. We agreed he would do the job that day for collection the following day. I arrived in store the next day and he's nowhere to be seen and my job was not completed. I had to take my work half completed home with me and pay 80e for mounted photos where the mount is not even stuck onto my photos properly. This store and the customer service is absolutely awful. They are too busy to listen, the jobs are rushed and nowhere near the quality of framing work I've had completed for me elsewhere. Such a shame as a small local business, but they all need a crash course in customer service in here. Not a single apology or offer of a mere slight bit of compensation for the stress caused and the damage to my orders. If you're thinking of coming in here with wedding photos or something sentimental, I'd seriously think twice, as it may do more harm than good to your energy levels, wallet and photos."

"I have been going to Keaney's for over 30 years. In respect of the hard work by Mr Keaney Senior, he had devoted his interests, life and enjoyment of Keaneys as a business. A Gentleman of Honour, good manners and trustworthy. The staff were friendly, hard working and a credit to the business. I recently went in to have a photogtaph, proffessionally framed, the service was appauling., a white mount was the only suggestion, no details taken down, no cost given, no creative ideas or customer service relating to any interest with the transaction. This is a family run business, Ivan has an excellent reputation as a photographer, the staff need training with politeness and customer service with a smile or the business will not survive. Disappointed with the staff who truly havent a clue. The mount was cut uneven, dust under the glass, dissapointed with the framing."

"I ordered 2 dog name tags I paid for them up front I was told I would get a phone call letting me know when I could collect them. I waited 3 weeks and no sign of them. I called the shop and a lady seemed shocked and said oh my goodness I will sort this out. I have been waiting a further 2 months. Not good enough And I am owed the money I paid for said dog tags that were never done."

"Visited this shop in search of a present for my adult son. Great selection of gifts, jewellery, phonographic accessories and even some quirky "man" tools. The Staff of this family run business are helpful and pleasant, even if service can be a bit slow, especially when the shop is quiet. The shop provides an interesting ,and indeed eclectic, range of goods and services. It is well worth a visit."
