"I can't speak in terms of healing yet, but in terms of experience it was perfect. I'm not great with pain, but the whole time I felt so safe and relaxed. Of course it was a bunch of needles piercing into my skin, so it was painful and some areas of skin were more painful than others, but it wasn't so bad, I was just listening away to music and scrolling through my phone - the studio really is a safe place, and Sam was very nice and understanding and kept checking in during the process. The tattoo is exactly what I imagined it to be, and I hope it heals well. I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy being tattooed, the pain was a nice kind of pain and it wasn't bad at all. It's odd, it was very enjoyable. I'd definitely love to get more. As an autistic and mentally ill person especially, I'm very socially awkward and generally uncomfortable leaving my house for any reason. It was daunting, but I'm happy to say I felt at home with Sam throughout the entire process, I'd 100% recommend. It's a nice comfortable safe space with lovely staff and it ain't as bad as you'd imagine in terms of pain or discomfort. Here's to many more."
