"Popped in for breakfast, spur of the moment, while visiting Ireland and had the most delicious breakfast. The service was great, and the food was yummy. A real home away from home breakfast."
"Such a lovely spot! Carrot cake was one of the tastiest cakes I’ve ever had and veggie breakfast was lovely too. Staff were super nice & service was very quick. Thanks so much! :-)"
"Fantastic little cafe of Newport, my top recommendation of Newport. What is really surprising... is the amount of choice on offer in such a small place. And ... on that I wish it had more space. We sat outside, on a park bench, on the pavement, and it was a beautiful day. However it is so close to the road. Which means cars park right up to you and blocks the view. In no way a fault of Kelly's Kitchen, or even something they can do anything about. It's just a shame as it hinders the view of the small and picturesque town. Sadly another place in desperate need of better parking. We stopped for a light lunch, but ended up ordering with our eyes. Everything was delicious. My Club sandwich was a perfect combination of bacon and chicken, not dry or overly salty, done perfectly. My wife had the Wings and Salad which she loved. Personally I am not fond of the Chinese style buffalo wings, not that it was bad (just my personal taste). But what really surprised me was the couscous, which was accompanied by a balsamic vinegar salad. This often has a nasty habit of being too vinegary, but Kelly's Kitchen did this well, it even had sweet undertones. My hats off to them, well done. Our only disappointment was that we needed to keep the meal light, as we were cycling. But once there... greeted with options that we couldn't choose as it would be too much... So we will be back! (We ended up over ordering regardless, but glad we did)"
"We stopped at Kelly's Kitchen for lunch as we were in the area. Plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas. The food was delicious. We had the soup of the day, spicy carrot with homemade brown bread and the black and white goat which is black and white pudding on toasted bread with goats cheese and side salad. It was really filling too. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location is great. Five stars from us. Well worth a visit."
