"REDS was my salon when it opened and I loved it. I moved to London a few years later. I returned last summer with my two teenage daughters and once alone this year. Alan and Teresa are fantastic we will be back! Alan is a master cutter and he encourages my hair to do what it likes to do so it looks very natural after a cut. Teresa did a brilliant job of my colour both times and I get lots of compliments. It's also a lovely atmosphere friendly and relaxed, I also liked being able to see the light snowstorm thought the window as it's high up. The girls were spoiled and looked lovely, they were both delighted with their haircut. Thanks all and wishing you a lovely springtime!"

"My daughter was in today and paid €140 for her hair. All good but when she was booking it was told it will be €100 I will be contacting you directly tomorrow morning to find out what happened. %40 off a difference is a big deal and should be agreed on before NOT after the job was done."

"I was in Dublin for my son's wedding and was recommended to use Reds by the hotel I was staying in. I went for a blow dry on the Thursday and thought they were fantastic. They kindly arranged for a stylist (who I will not name) to come to do my hair at the hotel at 8 am on the morning if the wedding. I was delighted as it meant that I could go to the family breakfast at 9 am and be ready for the photographs at 10 am. I was more than happy to pay 50%+ extra for this service. I messaged with the stylist as agreed on Friday afternoon and received a reply confirming the arrangements. Sadly she didn't arrive until 9.15 am by which time I was totally stressed, had missed breakfast and was rushed for the photos. It put a real downer on the start of the day. Her excuse was that she lives an hour out of town and she hadn't set her alarm clock for early enough - I had no answer for that (how hard can it be?.). The stylist would only accept the salon cost of €40 instead of the agreed €65 but this didn't really help - all I wanted was what we had agreed so that I could have a lovely day. The hotel concierge later told me that he had told her she shouldn't charge at all. As a consequence, I wouldn't use Reds again but nor will any of the Dublin based guests at the wedding. I have only given 2 stars because the service on the Thursday was very good otherwise I would have given 1!"
