"Went in here on the off chance that I might be able to get my makeup done. I was then told that they had no free appointments and that they could put me on the cancellation list and i was asked by the receptionist what the occasion was that I wanted it done for which was fair enough. A bit nosey of her but anyway. I then stated that I was getting it done for work to which she proceeded to look me up and down a few times like I had ten heads. "For work"? She said. I said yeah for work. Then she said why? And I got the immediate impression that she didnt think my reason was justifiable for getting my makeup done. I got the vibe straight away that if the makeup wasnt for something important like an occasion, I was made to feel judged for it. Like so what if I want to get it done for work Karen. I was going to be giving you business so why does it matter? I'm sure the other staff members are lovely"
