"I have just enjoyed a most enjoyable stay at the Slieve Russell. We stayed for two nights with the Young at Heart offer and I could not fault anything. I checked in online so i just had to collect my key at reception when i arrived and our room was just perfect, bed very comfy, shower very good, very nice feature wall in the bathroom, the room was where our only problem occurred during our stay, it wasn't really a problem as it was just the TV remote didn't work but it was sorted as soon as the staff were made aware of it. The one thing that we did notice during our stay was how friendly all the staff were, there was always a good morning or good evening and always with a smile, and they would also take time to have a chat as well , and that doesn't happen very often nowadays. We ate in both restaurants as the evening meal was included and I'm glad it was as the food was excellent, as was the service, also breakfast was good as well plenty of choice for everyone. We could not fault the hotel during our stay and we will definitely be back."

"Beautiful grounds. The room was clean, and the service was good. Breakfast was very nice- large variety of foods. Please know however, if you are visiting on a weekend, this is a popular venue for weddings. There were 3 weddings going on when we arrived on a Saturday. Not that this is bad, but the parking was challenging, and some of the guests (who had imbibed too much) were a bit loud heading back to their room late at night."

"I stayed with a friend at this lovely hotel on Mother's Day. I was greeted with the sight of 2 plates of beautiful chocolate strawberries decorated with baby pink meringues and fruit and a bottle of prosecco in ice, ordered by my son. Loved the room, especially the large separate shower. Evening meal, service and entertainment later in the bar by Mono was very good. Decor is lovely throughout. Very clean, and warm for such a large hotel. I enjoyed my swim in the very nice pool the following morning. Breakfast was very enjoyable.. Just remember to add natural yogurts . We enjoyed our stroll around the loop in the grounds before leaving. Overall , a very positive experience and will definitely come back again. Just check the kettles in the room.. Ours was not working . This is a small detail that we could have informed you about."

"On arrival we were told we had been upgraded so that was a lovely surprise. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment & it is looking really good, lovely & bright. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Both evening meal & breakfast was of a very good standard. We will be back!"

"TV didn't have smart apps for streaming. Very outdated TV system. No local craft beers on tap or bottled in the bar. Excellent Summit restaurant, excellent walks. Great facilities. The pool and mini golf are great. Amazing staff. Will definitely be back soon!"
