"Didn't have dinner but stayed in a room facing the lake with a balcony. The balcony is not private as rooms all have access. The view was beautiful. Jackie was pleasant and friendly making us feel welcomed. Had function rooms to hold small venues. Breakfast was perfect and all in all a great place to stay Strokestown is 5 minutes away"

"This was my first visit to the Silver Eel based on a recommendation. Situated just a couple of miles outside Strokestown in Co Roscommon. It was dark when we arrived but its clear the views must be spectacular. Sundry boats were moored nearby. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service was efficient and friendly. Looking forward to the next visit."
