Reviews
"This is a well stocked shop with plenty of space in the carpark. There is a great selection of breads and cakes and all that would be expected of a supermarket. The wine department could be better stocked than it usually is."
"Good shop for picking up special ingredients you can't find anywhere else."
"Only shop here out of necessity because of the distance. Very expensive. Just read another review and agree totally, some of the staff (not all!) have awful manners and attitude, have a tendency to talk down to customers. My son bought the wrong item, so I went in to change it, after the girl put it through the till, she put it down to the baggage area as if to say that it was my responsibility to bring it back to the shelf. I had my children in the car and asked her shocked if she wanted me to put it back "yeah". I worked in retail for 16 years and this situation happened several times every day and I never once expected or suggested that the customer put the item back. Her attitude is always terrible any time I've been in that shop. I would bring the issue to the owner but his attitude is exactly the same! So if that's the example..."
"Not a very pleasant experience. Staff adopt a very superior attitude at times. As an ethnographer from previous research on social attitudes, appears as if customer is subservient to retailer. I certainly would not recommend as a shopping experience. However if any of my masters students are willing could possibly be used as a social construct in an ethnographic study, perhaps in social science or anthropology."
