"I’m a regular client ever since I moved to Sligo last year. My sister, my mom, and I were always happy with results. It was probably my fifth visit and unfortunately the last one. Huge disappointment. I came to get my roots colored. As it wasn’t my first time, I knew that the hairdresser knows my regular formula and I was just enjoying my coffee there. After washing my hair it turned out that they messed the formula as my roots turned 2 levels lighter, into a rusty-orangey color. I was shocked how this was even possible. But the hairdresser quickly mixed and applied a new color to fix it. By this point I was already stressed as I was late for the meeting and couldn’t even let people know how much longer it might take. I had to apologize and cancel it. Another wash, roots seem ok this time. But it turned out that no one could blow dry my hair (the hairdresser had to take the next client) and I was sent to the reception to pay. I was so shocked and speechless. It’s unthinkable to let the client out with wet hair! In fairness, lady on the reception offered me to ‘wait 30 minutes and then she can take me to blow dry my hair’. Really? Another 30 minutes? I came on time, you messed my hair, I had to spend there another extra hour and cancel my meeting so you can fix what you’ve done and I need to wait more? Why don’t you ask to wait your next client? Why their time and money are more valuable than mine? My roots are still a bit lighter than the rest of my hair and it’s a matter of few washes until they turn into a cheap, leopard-patchy hair. Very traumatizing day, both for me and my hair. Luckily, there are plenty hairdressers in Sligo, hopefully I’ll find one who cares about clients experience more. it’s just an extremely poor quality of service and very disgraceful way of treating people. I just really hope that the way I was treated has nothing to do with the fact that I’m not Irish, after all it speaks more about you than about me."
