"Unbelievable bad service from this store. My sister returned a bottle of perfume here in December and the refund was due to go back to her card. The lady in store advised to come back if any issues. The refund was never received and we went back to the shop only to be told that they couldn't do anything despite what had been said previously and we had to go to Castlebar store which we did. Castlebar was looking into it and said she would receive a call about it which has never happened. I don't see why we had to go to Castlebar when the refund was completed in the Claremorris store. They even took a photocopy of the receipt on the day as proof of the refund. My sister then made a complaint to the customer care as it is now 2 months and the money has not been returned. They won't deal with it as was an in-store purchase. This is absolutely the worst customer service we have ever received and it seems the money will never be returned. Disgraceful."

"Can't say I cared for it. I find it almost impossible to find stores with pleasant staff. I know my reviews make it look as if I'm the problem. But consider this. I went to this Boots twice in the one morning. The first time I was greeted by a notice saying they were shut because they had a "technical issue" with unlocking the door. So I had to come back. Sure, that happens. On my return, there were more staff and customers but still I had to wait - and wait - and wait. That happens. Then, over 10 minutes later, in a shop with three staff at tills and two other customers, I finally had my chance at a till and stepped forward. Here's where I won't be returning. Was I greeted with courtesy? Was I wished a good morning or a Happy Christmas? An apology for my long wait? No! Instead a surly challenge as to whether I was really next - with the nasty inference I was queue jumping. For the luvva Gawd, I was one of two people and had been standing in front of the wretched woman for over ten minutes."
