"A little our out the way. Breakfast cold on the first morning. Rooms are very clean and spacious. However, the room was not un suite, and that was a little uncomfortable. The main man at reception was very helpful with his knowledge of the area."
"Sean is beyond welcoming and helpful. Delightful stay on the island. This location is away from the village but walking distance to the fort, which has a cafe and shops. Also to the wormhole."
"TLDR: Great place and amazing people, 10/10 would book here again if visiting Aran Islands. The location is close to Dún Aonghasa (30 min walking) and Poll na bPéist - The Wormhole. The room was more than spacious and beddings were fresh and clean. The breakfast was in good portions and very delicious. Here you can sleep with the sound of the ocean and wake up hearing the mooing of the cows. Last but not the least, my trip was complicated since traveling with a toddler and I lost my baggage coming off the ferry. Shout out to Michelle and other workers who were more than considerate to help and I eventually retrieved the bag."
"We had a great stay at the lodge, the owner Sean was so friendly and gave us plenty of advice on where to visit. The lodge is super clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. They also have options to rent out bikes which were cheap at only €10. Definitely recommend for a stay on Inis Mór!"
"TL:DR; Simply fabulous experience! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Aran Islands, then the Aran Walkers Lodge is the place to be! Sean is an amazing host. From before we arrived he was very well organised and planned. He helped arrange a ride from the pier in Kil Ronan to the lodge, made sure all was set and in perfect condition and spent a lot of time charting our day, understanding us and planning hike and trips that would suit us. Without his knowledge, we wouldn’t have been able to explore the marvellous beauty of Inish Mor. Like in Apple Fitness, he plans with levels of difficulty so we can choose what we want. The rooms are well furnished and the facilities are awesome, a great living room and community room with yoga mats, nice sofas and throws, good Internet and a kitchen that we could use (for a nominal charge). The breakfast is amazing. And in fact, he has bikes to hire as well. In all, a complete place. And the views from the lodge are amazing! So whether you’d want to chill down and spend a few cosy lazy days, or an adventure-packed - bliss for the eyes and heart days, this is the place to be. In fact, for the RedBull Worldseries diving, this was the camp spot. World-famous Dun Aungosa and Wormhole are very close to this place. In fact, it’s beautifully centrally located close to Kil Murvie village, that there is a restaurant, a knit shop, a beautiful Sandy beach and a lot of monuments close to it. Simply loved the stay and for sure would go back again!"
