"Eddie and his staff are fabulous. The meals are reasonably priced for the size of the portions, especially the kids menu. Great range of whiskeys and a lovely atmosphere. I did have my wedding reception there but still keep going back."
"We loved our 2 night stay at the Fairhill House hotel in Clonbur. We especially enjoyed the beautiful food both nights and the attentiveness of staff was second to none!! It was a bonus that Marley was also made to feel so welcome. We look forward to a return visit in the not so distant future!"
"Fabulous place from which to explore Connemara. Lovely warm atmosphere, great food, would definitely recommend eating there. We had two breakfasts and two dinners. Restaurant was popular with the locals as well as residents. We had a room with a balcony overlooking Clonbur, a quiet village just a few minutes from Cong Best thing is that it's dog friendly so definitely will go back."
"Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms where lovely. A very warm and inviting ambience from the minute we walked in the door. Service from start to finish was excellent. The food was exquisite, especially the seafood chowder and mussels. Head chef James, was incredibly friendly. He came out to talk to us and gave both kids a chef's hat and signed them for us. Fantastic getaway, will revisit soon thanks"
"Had a light lunch here, the soup of the day was delicious, hot and creamy. The club sandwich was tasty, but I was disappointed when the advertised "crispy bacon" turned out to be just about cooked and very fatty. Service was good and waiter very friendly. Would still eat here again though."
